Dexter sets up in Damien Gerard Studios, Sydney with a powerful system that not only records his new CD 'TIMESCAPE' through the studios equipment but broadcasts both audio and video of the event simultaneously over the internet into the virtual world of 'Second Life'. Dexter plays his unique style of guitar and sings live on this recording. To augment his sound he has Sydney drummer Dave Bennett playing drums. Its a raw approach but Dexter's' smooth funked out sound and Dave's' interpretation is fashioned to achieve earthy driving grooves as well as spaced out soundscapes.

The lyrical content contained within this collection of songs includes concepts such as Time Travel, Higher Dimensional Reality, String or M-Theory & Multiple Consecutive Universes - all woven into existentialist viewpoints on Travel, Hope, Heartbreak, Assertion, Betrayal and Devotion.

The musicality achieved speaks for itself but Dexter's musical roots are deeply immersed in Soul, Funk, Jazz and Latin music. Interestingly also, is the fact that his guitar style is based upon the inspiration derived from 4 particular bass players! It is from these players, Classic Latin Music and 70's Jazz/Rock Fusion that he molded his most original way of playing Nylon String Acoustic Guitar the way that he does, and in a way that has brought so much acclaim. All that, now driven with powerhouse drum rhythms is the next step of Dexter's' musical journey, and this is presented exquisitely in Timescape.
